Kathleen Ingman, PhD

Board Certified Clinical Child and Adolescent Psychologist

About Me

I am a board-certified clinical child and adolescent psychologist licensed in California (PSY17515).  I have over 20 years of experience treating children, adolescents, and young adults for a broad array of issues, with special expertise in anxiety, mood disorders, and pediatric psychology (children/adolescents living with medical illness). I use evidence-based interventions, drawing strongly from cognitive behavioral, trauma informed, and dyadic (parent-child) relational approaches to develop individualized, effective treatment plans. Treatment goals are identified in collaboration with clients, and I strive to meet these goals in a short-term, efficient manner.

I received my PhD in clinical psychology from Virginia Tech and completed internship and fellowship training in clinical child and pediatric psychology at the UCLA Semel Institute for Neuroscience and Human Behavior. My work experience includes my role as an attending psychologist at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles and a faculty appointment in the Department of Pediatrics at the USC Keck School of Medicine.

I am currently accepting a limited number of clients for in person  treatment at my office in Pasadena, or telehealth treatment to clients in California.  I am  available on evenings and weekends only.
